About

Feedback is the student magazine of Jakarta Intercultural School. Produced and written by students enrolled in the High School Advanced Journalism course, the scholastic magazine is for students, of students, and by students. We usually publish five print issues every year, the contents of which are available through this website launched in 2022.

Now in its 36th year of publication, the magazine has long been a member of the Columbia Scholastic Press Association, earning its first certificate in 1989. Since then, individual writers and the magazine have garnered nearly twenty First Place or Gold Medal Certificates. Under the guidance of former adviser Edward Goodell since the 1990s, the magazine earned the illustrious Silver Crown award five times, and after launching this website, earned its most recent Silver Crowns consecutively in 2025 and 2026 in the category of hybrid general magazine. In both years, Feedback was the only international school publication to achieve that distinction by the Ivy League university.
