Beneath the smiles of nearly every child lingers a sweet but hidden thought of chocolate. What was first discovered as rotting beans 5,000 years ago by the Mayans, has evolved into the diverse range of confections we are all accustomed to today. Whether it is a velvety caramel filling stuffed inside a truffle, or even a cookie flavored bar, each variety of chocolate embodies the same and unmatched flavor of cacao. Chocolate still continues to take shape as a staple of comfort today, with every single one of its assortments capable of providing a familiar warmth found across moments in our childhood.

Each truffle is individually wrapped, with the Lindt logo engraved onto the surface of the chocolate shell. Inside the truffle holds a silky caramel center, which is then encapsulated in a thick milk chocolate. Even though the chocolate carries a rich flavor, the confection still manages to prevent tastebuds from cloying.

Yet, one of the first recollections we have of chocolate are mainly established throughout earlier years in our childhood.

Chocolate holds a value that is worth much more than just a beloved childhood snack: it serves as emotional reassurance that is able to reconcile sentimental episodes derived from moments early on in life.
